As a child I used to dislike pea soup very much. I would pretty much run away whenever I could smell the stuff. Bland, green heavy stuff. I am not sure whether it’s an acquired taste or my food preferences just shifted as I got older, but nowadays you can probably put this in front of me any time of the year (for those who don’t know, this is a dish that is traditionally eaten only in winter in the Netherlands) and I will gobble it up.

My brother and I made this delicious Austrian meal today for lunch. We really enjoyed it and it gave us some nice nostalgic feelings for when we went hiking in Austria with our parents! My girlfriend had never had this dish, but she also enjoyed it a lot.
My second attempt at this. This went quite a lot better, probably due to letting the yeast activate before using it, and because I used the pizza stone I got for my birthday. Made three pizzas this time. Even the dough tossing worked somewhat!
The first one was done with pineapple, ham, olives and cheese. My choices :)
Made a pretty basic but good tasting quiche. :)
